The Fox Croft block of the inimitable Wismer Vineyard is located on the corner of Victoria Avenue and Moyer Road in Vineland, within the Twenty Mile Bench subappellation of Niagara Escarpment. Fox Croft tends to be slightly warmer due to lower elevation and yields an intense, riper style, with notes of peach, Meyer lemon and apricot. September and October were cool and dry in 2019, resulting in a Riesling with intensity and a fine, underlying core of acidity and minerality.

These grapes were hand-harvested and whole bunch pressed for gentle juice extraction. The wine was racked off the lees after 48 hours of cold settling, and fermented in stainless steel at 12ºC over the course of three weeks. It was bottled in January 2020 to preserve aromatic fruit intensity.
